I first met Joan (then "Miss Jessop" to us children) when I was a child and in trouble at Combs. Being the heads son I was sent to the Deputy for telling off and that was Joan! When I left school I bought my first car from Joan, her ex police Morris minor which got me started on a whole range of Morris Minors. I was so sad to hear of her passing.
